The School was started in the year 2001, by Vasireddy Educational Society, with a vision to impart quality and value based education to children; to improve the ethical standards in the field education; to adopt a futuristic approach to promote traditional values amongst the younger generation.

It's been a long journey! A journey spanning 22 long years in earnestly making a qualitative difference to the lives of tens of thousands of children and their aspirational parents. Slate - The School is a result of Vasireddy Amarnath’s intense soul searching and stirring of the conscience at the crass commercialization and defunct education system, devoid of values and relevance for the present/future. The Chairman of Slate - The School, Mr. Amarnath is a renowned academician who has helped thousands to become IAS, IPS, Group-I and other officers. He is an amazingly multi-faceted personality who has donned many hats effortlessly, viz. educationist, media analyst/panelist, child psychologist, humanist, reformist, columnist and thought leader. That Slate has grown in strength year-on-year with the unflinching support of parents stands testimony to his passion and dedication. Over the years, neither has he deviated from what he believed in as the true path of education nor has he diversified into any other activity other than spreading value-based education. Not known to cut corners or compromise when it comes to delivering quality education to children, his attention to detail in every aspect of schooling, from recruiting and re-orienting teachers to evolving processes for effective imparting of holistic education has been truly remarkable.
His unwavering intensity and passion to transform the schooling and his unquestionable integrity in walking the talk has endeared him to lakhs of parents across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
